Antik Pedal is a bicycle route with a measured length of 103.7 kilometres located within the districts of Fethiye and Seydikemer. The route connects notable locations including Letoon, Pydnai, Gavurağılı, Sidyma, Kalabantia, Kabak, Pinara, Butterfly Valley, Tonoz Beach, Hisarönü, Ovacık, and the Lycian Way.
The journey begins near Letoon, an ancient city located near the village of Kumluova close to Fethiye, established in honour of Leto who was impregnated by Zeus. Containing settlement traces dating back to the 7th century BC, this religious and political site features three temples standing side by side (dedicated to Leto in the north, Artemis in the middle, and Apollo in the south), a fountain, a church, a stoa, and a Hellenistic theatre. Letoon is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List together with Xanthos.
The route then extends to Pydnai, an abandoned Hellenistic fortress situated at the western end of the Patara beach near the Karadere locality in Seydikemer. Positioned between the Eşen Stream and Cape Gelidonya, the fort was built to protect the road leading to Xanthos and comprises complete defensive walls, 11 towers, seven stair groups, and the remains of a Byzantine church. The long-distance hiking trail, the Lycian Way, passes right through Pydnai.
Continuing onwards, travellers encounter the ancient Lycian city of Sidyma, located within the borders of Dodurga village 51 km south of Seydikemer. Situated on the southern slope of Mount Cragus, Sidyma features an Artemis temple, a theatre, rock-cut tombs, a bathhouse, a church, stoa columns, and walls surrounding the acropolis.
After Sidyma, the route visits Kalabantia, an ancient Lycian town whose remains lie on the lower coast of the Yediburunlar Lighthouse, about 4 km west of Boğaziçi village in Seydikemer. Located roughly 4.4 kilometres by road from Sidyma, this coastal stretch leads the journey forward through Kabak, Pinara, Butterfly Valley, Tonoz Beach, Hisarönü, Ovacık, and the Lycian Way.
